At Kids Count Ministry it is our mission to help Parents G.R.O.W. their kids for Christ.  What does G.R.O.W. mean?

G - Grace: God’s Grace is for all of us (Romans 3:23)

R - Relationship: God is ready to be our best friend (Mark 28:19-20)

O - Outreach: God’s mission for us is to spread his Word (Mt 28:19-20)

W - Wisdom: God has given each of us gifts to help us serve him (1 Cor 12)

PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
CQ - Children’s Quizzing, (Superbook Olympic Style.)  CQ is open at all kids ages 1st thru 6th grade.  It is our desire to see our kids better understand the Bible, better understand who God is and develop a desire to study the Bible. 

All in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Infusion - A small group just for 5th and 6th graders meets just to provide support for kids as they move through this awkward age and transition for kid ministry to teen ministry.

Camps - Each July we send groups of Kids from our Church to the Virginia District Nazarene Children’s Camp Programs.  Kids have a great time, boating, swimming, playing, and studying God’s Word.  Available camps are: Kids Camp for 1st thru 3rd Grades and Pre-Teen Camp for 4th thru 6th Grades.

Special Events - Each year the Kids Count Ministry sponsors a variety of special events including Veggie Tale Movie Nights, Ice Cream Parties, Pool Parties, the Christmas program, special Kids Sunday worship services, the Harvest Celebration and the Easter Egg Hunt.  Keep an eye on the weekly and the Bridge for more details on these events.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

The beginning of our Sunday morning worship service is purposely family friendly.  We encourage families to worship together during this time so our children can see adults worship and know that it is an important part of their lives.  After the beginning worship section our kids will be dismissed to go to one of the following children’s services:

Burning Bush Club… Ignited, Excited and Ready to Serve - Children age 1st Grade through 6th Grade grow in their understanding of Christ through relevant and application-oriented teaching in a fun filled 45 minute service.  Music, purposeful games, and object lesson teaching are the keys to striving to make this the best day of their week.  It’s easy to ask a friend to come to church and visit the Burning Bush Club.

Creation Clubhouse… Created to GROW - Our ministry for children ages 4 through Kindergarten is exciting, energetic, and fun.  We feature a variety of God’s creatures, both with costumes and puppets.  Imagine the excitement of your four to six year old worshipping God with a giant smiling raccoon and watching a puppet performance of Bible stories and songs. 
They won’t want to miss it.

Joyful Jungle… Growing for God - This is a special ministry for two and three year olds.  Joyful Jungle kids are treated to special music and a Bible lesson at just their level.  This is an age group normally included in the nursery of churches, but they are capable of learning so much, it is great to begin teaching them about Christ's love and getting them excited about church! 

The Kids Count Nursery... Let the GROWing Begin - The kids of our church are our future, so from the first time they come to church as an infant we want them to experience the love of God through our nursery staff.  Even before they can walk, these children will love to hear stories from the bible and hear songs about how much Jesus loves them.

To meet the needs of nursing moms there is a Sunday School room right beside the nursery that is open with comfortable seating and live feed of the service on TV.
